I am a registered Craniosacral Therapist and Integrative Baby Therapy Practitioner with a particular interest in our womb experience, birth trauma and intergenerational healing.

I had a very traumatic entrance into this world myself, and I understand deeply how prenatal and birth imprints can affect our way in this life. In my case, I was left wondering why I was here, at the same time, fascinated by human relationships and human behaviour. Communication and connection have always come first for me. I studied languages and became a languages teacher. Later, I re-trained and became a massage therapist. That was my first experience of the mind-body connection.

I am the mother of three young adults, none of whose births went as I had planned. We have an interesting tapestry of C-sections, multiple births, breech, posterior birth and medical intervention. One of my daughters was helped enormously by cranial work as a new born. She suffered with colic and couldn’t settle. After several treatments, she slept better and was less fractious. We were then able to relax and slowly knit together as a bigger family. Interestingly, I didn’t think about Craniosacral Therapy for my own recovery at that time. A few years later, I booked a session for myself. Afterwards, I felt relaxed and decompressed for the first time in a long time. I was truly inspired and decided to retrain in Craniosacral Therapy.

Because of my own family’s experiences, I became fascinated by pre and perinatal psychology. The idea that babies are sentient and aware beings who experience womb and birth trauma on a physical and emotional level was new to me, and yet it resonated with my own experience and that of my children. I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Baby Therapy (IBT). Since that time, I have undertaken many other pre and perinatal courses and worked on my own birth process, which has been life changing.
